This is an update to the ICAI's Internal Communique.
1. Institute is yet to take approval from the MHA for conduct of exams.
2. Except for Karnataka and Kerala, no other major State has given consent to Institute.
3. Meeting of exam committee was earlier scheduled on 4th July. Now it's been advanced to this week.
4. As on Yesterday, only around 14% students chosen opt-out (8% CA Final) which is not Institute has hoped. They expected a bigger number.
5. An senior official has informed that, because ICAI has released a statement that "exam will be held even for one single student", they are in a dilemma, whether to go ahead, if not the reputation is going to be affected due to such statements.
